Seahawks Sign Final Draft Pickpen_spark

Seattle signed their final draft pick, Michael Jerrell, securing the entire 2024 rookie class.

Having all eight draftees under contract avoids potential holdout issues before training camp.

Jerrell, a Division II tackle prospect, was the only player from that level drafted.

The Seahawks believe Jerrell has the talent to develop into an NFL starter.

First-round pick Byron Murphy headlines the draft class as a defensive tackle.

Other notable picks include guard Christian Haynes, linebacker Tyrice Knight, and tight end A.J. Barner.

With the rookie wage scale, contract negotiations are rarely contentious for draft picks.

Seattle can now focus on integrating their rookie talent during camp and preseason.
